Day 3's theme was "chairs" or "thrones". I looked up reference images of antique chairs and picked one that looked relatively simple to do in a day, geometry wise. If my focus wasn't on texture practice I could absolutely reduce geometry on the low poly further, as I noticed several redundant edge loops across the whole mesh in the end.
High poly baked to a low poly - with simple underlying wood material, using multiple layers of generators for dust, edge wear, and scratches.
For the leather cushion I used a leather smart material, and set up multiple layers of generators ontop of that for torn & worn spots, dirt and stains, and cavity dust - I also emphasized the wear on the material where people would have sat on the cushion, and rested their backs against the back rest.
